Boccantino, Primitivo-Susumaniello 2022

Boccantino is a winery based in Puglia, southern Italy, but are owned by Schenk-Italia; a larger group of some of our favourite wineries from across the whole of Italy. They offer great variety, and produce honest, authentic Italian wines. Primitivo-Susumaniello 2022 is a bit of southern Italian sunshine in a glass. Ripe, spicy and bold, the nose has notes of blackberry jam, blackcurrant, black plum and cinnamon. The palate is rich and enveloping, with more intensely fruity notes, soft texture and juicy finish. A great wine to pair with BBQs or pizza.
